There is around a one hour call wait to speak to an advisor at present. We are sorry about this and are doing all we can to help as many as possible.
We are a charity run mostly by volunteers and we have an enormous number of calls each week and just don’t have enough funding or volunteers to answer them all.
You can get help instantly by searching our online info tool
You can also send us an email to request advice. We guaranteed a reply within 10 days.
If your advice query can’t be resolved by looking at our online info or you cannot wait for us to reply to your email please do give us a call on the Bucks Adviceline below. If you are in a food crisis please call our dedicated foodline on 01494 785660
Advisers available Mon-Fri 9.30am – 4.30pm
If you have hearing or speech difficulties you can communicate with us over the phone, using the national relay service where you can type what you want to say: 18001 then our adviceline numbers.
You can use Relay UK with an app or a textphone. There’s no extra charge to use it. Find out how to use Relay UK on the Relay UK website.
Help to Claim can help you with the early stages of your Universal Credit claim. You can find out more about this service here.
When calling through for our adviceline service you can request for the use of “Language Line” if English is not your first language. The adviser you speak with can arrange a translator to take part in a three way call to assist in resolving your advice query via translating to your native/preferred language.
